St. Joseph Bay Sunrise

Here is a photo from St. Joseph Bay at St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. I took this picture at sunrise. Although it was fun to walk barefoot through the water to this spot early in the morning, the bugs were out in force so I had to fight them off between every shot I took. St. Joseph Bay is near Port St. Joe, and is at the end of Cape San Blas. More photos can be found at:

St. Joseph Peninsula State Park

I spent the last weekend in St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. I was able to hike along the beach a little and enjoyed the view of the Gulf and the dunes. I was able to walk in between a couple of dunes and then get behind the dunes and sea oats shown here. I converted the photo to black and white and this is the result. The sunset colors were not that spectacular, but the clouds looked pretty cool so it was worth the effort.

I have not posted in a while, but I will try to get back to it. Here is a recent shot from Pensacola Beach. I stacked 39 exposures together at 30 seconds each to create this shot.
